5 × Sit-to-Stand
Explore how body weight can mask the association between chair-rise performance and muscle mass.
What the interactive shows
Compare ASMI at the same body weight, body weight at the same ASMI, or both together. Two synchronized avatars illustrate the timing implied by the study model.

Evidence & interpretation
A women-only teaching demonstration of group-average associations, not an individual or causal prediction. The primary model explains 6.7% of variation.
How the model works
The published interactive uses STS pace = 17.5568 + 1.4216 × ASMI − 0.1746 × body weight. Five-rise time is 150 divided by predicted pace. Preserve these coefficients and model boundaries when comparing versions.
Publication status
The study citation and publication file have not yet been connected. The live interactive documents its model and interpretation limits.
