RehabTools

Terms of use

These terms apply to the RehabTools website, its published resources and the Rehabtools plugin, operated by Ross Clark. Updated 12 October 2026. The plugin is free, with no payments or purchases.

Education purposes only

All content, evidence summaries, software, calculators, equipment guides, examples, downloads and chatbot responses are for education purposes only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, a clinical service or a substitute for qualified professional judgement. Educational examples do not establish that a tool, device or procedure is safe, validated or suitable for your intended use.

Accuracy and limitations

Content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information or incomplete source access. AI-assisted content and chatbot responses may be inaccurate. Evidence summaries are not a guarantee of exhaustive coverage or independent human appraisal. Unresolved versions remain unresolved. The plugin's fixed preview snapshot may differ from current website content.

You are responsible for checking original sources, dates, protocols, units, assumptions, safety requirements and applicability before using information or acting on it. Do not rely on this site or plugin alone for clinical, safety-critical or other consequential decisions.

Your decisions and the operator's responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, currency or fitness for purpose of the content, or for anything a user does or fails to do in reliance on the website, plugin, tools or chatbot responses. Content and tools are provided as available, without warranties to the extent those warranties may lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for injury, loss, damage, costs or other consequences arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the website, plugin, content, software, equipment instructions or chatbot responses.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including any applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Limited support and availability

Use the chatbot interface for general guidance. Support is limited and automated; it does not guarantee human assistance or notify the operator. No response time, personalised advice, bug fix, ongoing maintenance or uninterrupted availability is promised. Resources may change or become unavailable. See support.

Privacy and external services

Do not enter patient, participant, student, identifying, confidential or sensitive information. ChatGPT, hosting providers and linked services have their own terms and privacy practices. Links and citations do not guarantee external content accuracy or continued availability. See privacy and data handling.

Source rights

These terms do not grant ownership or redistribution rights in third-party publications, software or other materials. Respect any licence and attribution requirements attached to individual resources.
