Total hip arthroplasty
- current access class: accepted_manuscript_with_final_abstract_conflicts
- source version note: Accepted manuscript and final abstract conflict; both retained.
Accepted manuscript confirms 80 recruited, 58 completed; age>55. Four 90-cm canes; prescribed sequence; one practice and best of two trials. Preop retest 7–35 days, mean 18 days; postoperative test≈6 months with 1-minute repetitions. Preop narrow LoA−3.2 to 3.5 s after removing 3 outliers. Manuscript tables count 7+14 preoperative failed test occasions; unique-person overlap unresolved.
Source locator: Oxford accepted manuscript: Methods manuscript pp 3–7; Results pp 8–9; Discussion pp 11–13; Tables 2–3; published Pub Med abstract PMID30630621
Limitations: Published abstract gives interrater LoA−2.2 to 3.4 s; manuscript narrative differs. Retain version labels; do not silently replace published numbers. Need final-version tables for remaining conflict. Substantive original material obtained; this is not proof of original report author access or every table/supplement being inspected.
