Stroke. 1999. DOI 10.1161/01.str.30.9.1862 Source examined: Complete licensed publisher HTML examined, including scoring appendix; four embedded tables and four figures visually inspected at supplied resolution. 58 longitudinal patients plus separate 12-person reliability sample. Instrumental comparator was seated rocking-platform balance, not quiet standing. Image-only tables were read visually; no inferential numeric extraction from plotted limits.

Scoped audit evidence

These are source- and component-level audit summaries as of 3 October 2026. Access and comparison scope can differ by report; none certifies every result or the underlying raw data.

Stroke

58 longitudinal first unilateral supratentorial stroke patients plus 12 separate reliability patients and 30 controls. Exclusions, day 30/90 assessments and selected seated eight-second rocking-platform comparator are explicit. Table 3 FIM total r=.73; day-30 PASS/day-90 FIM r=.75. Same-day two-rater and three-day repeat: item kappa means .88/.72, ranges .64–1/.45–1; total Pearson .99/.98. Results reports 38% at maximum by day 90. Appendix permits free foot position and grades support/duration. These match the report and are not ICC/MDC estimates.

Source locator: Subjects and Methods; Results Construct/Predictive validity, Reliability; Table 3; Table 4; Appendix

Limitations: Embedded tables are approximately 300 pixels wide; readable Table 3/4 cells were checked, without extracting numerical limits from plots. Current inspection does not independently certify the historical reading process.
