Strong relationship of muscle force and fall efficacy, but not of gait kinematics, with number of falls in the year after Total Hip Arthroplasty for osteoarthritis: An exploratory study
This note indexes a cited or audit-added source. It may be an original study, review, guideline, form or methods reference. Treat the specific design and the evidence below as authoritative; a source note is not automatically a primary study.

Scoped audit evidence
These are source- and component-level audit summaries as of 3 October 2026. Access and comparison scope can differ by report; none certifies every result or the underlying raw data.
Total hip arthroplasty
- current access class: original_body_or_pdf_available
- source version note: Version and incomplete-table limitations preserved in evidence notes.
12 THA at 12.4±.3 months; falls recalled for preceding year. Current force, FES-I, treadmill gait 100 Hz, backward-selected regressions. R².84 using unaffected strength and .92 using average bilateral strength. These are in-sample associations with past falls, not future-risk validation.
Source locator: Methods Participants/Subject characteristics/Statistics; Results Fall risk
Limitations: Source body retrieved; numeric tables incomplete but these stated models are explicit in Results. Substantive original material obtained; this is not proof of original report author access or every table/supplement being inspected.
