Evidence source and scope

Ekstrand E, Lexell J, Brogårdh C. Isometric and isokinetic muscle strength in the upper extremity can be reliably measured in persons with chronic stroke. Journal of rehabilitation medicine. 2015;47(8):706. DOI 10.2340/16501977-1990

This note indexes a cited or audit-added source. It may be an original study, review, guideline, form or methods reference. Treat the specific design and the evidence below as authoritative; a source note is not automatically a primary study.

Scoped audit evidence

These are source- and component-level audit summaries as of 3 October 2026. Access and comparison scope can differ by report; none certifies every result or the underlying raw data.

Stroke

45 >6-month mild-to-moderate upper-limb stroke; forehead reach/block grasp eligibility. Grippit three 3-s maximal efforts, 60-s rest, highest value; one-week retest. Table IV confirms more-affected grip ICC .96, SRD 61.8 N/25.6%; less-affected ICC .95, SRD 73.3 N/21.0%. Higher error and retest gains in some isokinetic assays.

Limitations: Original abstract pairs range endpoints ambiguously; table confirms report’s side-specific values.
