Evidence source and scope

Hosoi Y, Kamimoto T, Sakai K, Yamada M, Kawakami M. Estimation of minimal detectable change in the 10-meter walking test for patients with stroke: a study stratified by gait speed. Frontiers in neurology. 2023;14:1219505. DOI 10.3389/fneur.2023.1219505

This note indexes a cited or audit-added source. It may be an original study, review, guideline, form or methods reference. Treat the specific design and the evidence below as authoritative; a source note is not automatically a primary study.

Scoped audit evidence

These are source- and component-level audit summaries as of 3 October 2026. Access and comparison scope can differ by report; none certifies every result or the underlying raw data.

Stroke gait — gait

Methods confirm closely repeated walks with 20-second rests. Tables give 84 participants in strata of 19/29/36 and MDC 95 0.05/0.11/0.21 m/s. Table 2 incorrectly repeats the overall low-speed mean; Table 1 gives 0.24 m/s. ICC descriptions conflict.

Limitations: Table 2 also displays a correlation of 1.99, which cannot be a correlation coefficient. These are source inconsistencies, not report transcription errors.
