This note indexes a cited or audit-added source. It may be an original study, review, guideline, form or methods reference. Treat the specific design and the evidence below as authoritative; a source note is not automatically a primary study.

Scoped audit evidence

These are source- and component-level audit summaries as of 3 October 2026. Access and comparison scope can differ by report; none certifies every result or the underlying raw data.

Total hip arthroplasty

19 studies, 875 participants(842 THA patients plus 33 controls), 856 hips. HHD/manual tests and nonneutral abduction excluded .15 studies low quality, 4 moderate; all pooled evidence low. Graph extraction and imputed uncertainty confirmed. Three estimands: limb ratio, baseline change, healthy control comparison.

Source locator: Selection Criteria; Data Preparation; Results Study Characteristics/Quality; Confidence in Cumulative Evidence

Limitations: Report total 875 participants is correct but should retain control inclusion if calling all 875 THA patients elsewhere; not found in checked narrative. Substantive original material obtained; this is not proof of original report author access or every table/supplement being inspected.
