223 recruited, 198 analysed; STS ROC AUC .75 (CI .66–.83), cutoff -4.1 s, sensitivity .73/specificity .70; one-sided detectable improvement 9.8 s from SEM 4.2×sqrt(2)×1.64. The two are distinct. GPE 3–5 unchanged; 6–7 improved.
