Influence of Weight Bearing Visual Feedback on Movement Symmetry during Sit to Stand Task

This note indexes a cited or audit-added source. It may be an original study, review, guideline, form or methods reference. Treat the specific design and the evidence below as authoritative; a source note is not automatically a primary study.

Scoped audit evidence

These are source- and component-level audit summaries as of 3 October 2026. Access and comparison scope can differ by report; none certifies every result or the underlying raw data.

Total hip arthroplasty

35 preop/27 postop asymmetric participants after excluding 6/11 with near-symmetry. Not fully paired; parent cohort shared with 2015 study. Three no-feedback trials then 3 feedback trials; 2 practices each. SI=operated−nonoperated, zero symmetry. ±.06 N/BW exclusion based on controls. Force symmetry improved immediately; not all joint mechanics normalized.

Source locator: Methods 2.1, 2.4 and symmetry definition; Results 3.1–3.3; Tables 2/4

Limitations: Fixed order and selected sample restrict causal interpretation/transport. No retention/future-harm endpoint. Substantive original material obtained; this is not proof of original report author access or every table/supplement being inspected.
