This note indexes a cited or audit-added source. It may be an original study, review, guideline, form or methods reference. Treat the specific design and the evidence below as authoritative; a source note is not automatically a primary study.

Scoped audit evidence
These are source- and component-level audit summaries as of 3 October 2026. Access and comparison scope can differ by report; none certifies every result or the underlying raw data.
Stroke
67 stroke participants, 67 age/sex-matched controls; 2 weeks–3 months, preserved walking with aid allowed; severe spasticity >2 Ashworth and major range/cognitive restrictions excluded. Two 8-s cycle sprints, 5-ms sampling, differing friction loads and cubic power–velocity fit. Pmax/kg 2.52 vs 5.08 W/kg gives 49.6% of controls. Concurrent TUG, Barthel and RMA associations; forward-selection analysis mainly separates age and power/cadence, not comprehensive stroke severity adjustment.
Source locator: Participants; Muscle function; Statistical analysis; Results Tables 1–4
Limitations: Clinical interpretation of cycling as a multi-joint task is a reasoned construct distinction rather than a directly tested mechanistic decomposition.
