Scoped audit evidence

These are source- and component-level audit summaries as of 3 October 2026. Access and comparison scope can differ by report; none certifies every result or the underlying raw data.

Stroke

408 participants assessed at mean 63.8 days and followed 10.3 months, using monthly calendars and calls. Eligibility included residual paresis, walking 10 feet with at most one-person assistance, following three-step commands and speed below .8 m/s. 147 multiple/injurious, 88 single/noninjurious and 173 nonfallers. 41 candidate variables; CART and ten-fold cross-validation. BBS ≤42: apparent sensitivity/specificity 73%/53%, cross-validated 78%/39%. Intervention assignment did not confound or modify the association; more complex models generalized poorly.

Source locator: Methods; Results Incidence and Predicting Faller Category; Figure 3

Limitations: Internal cross-validation is not external validation. The report accurately distinguishes the composite outcome from any-fall risk.
