These are source- and component-level audit summaries as of 3 October 2026. Access and comparison scope can differ by report; none certifies every result or the underlying raw data.
Parkinson’s disease — balance
- access status: complete_original_thesis_PDF
Latest listed audit check, current for its stated components. Later recovery/refinement here supersedes earlier access limitations only where explicitly stated; it does not resolve unrelated source contradictions.
Original 377-page thesis recovered from the official Alicante public DSpace API, with file MD5 matching repository metadata. Study 3 independently read: printed pp 244–248 report 52 recruited, two deaths, one uncontactable person and one outlier, leaving 48; ON 45–90 minutes; FreeMed 100 Hz, shoulder-width feet, arms at sides, three 30-second trials per eye condition with one-minute rest. Telephone recall is specified without contact frequency. Table 40 has 17 recurrent and 31 non-recurrent fallers. Screening plus two backward-selection stages is described. Table 46 gives MV eyes-open AUC .81 (.70–.93), cutoff 18.1; H&Y and BBS AUC .86. Printed pp 253–254 Tables 44–45 and model-2 text were visually inspected: 91.7% classification, H&Y B=2.74 versus OR4.96, and model-1 MV CI crossing 1 with p=.020. No validation or calibration analysis is described. The final journal has 55 initial participants, three outliers and additional diagnostic exclusion, a different sensor-only model, and 88.2% classification. Version differences are real; no reason to substitute thesis operating characteristics for the final article. Source locator: archived source evidence, Study 3 printed pp 244–256 (PDF pp 245–257), Tables 40 and 44–46; audit evidence record; final original journal Table 4 and Methods Limit: Thesis and final-journal versions differ; no raw-data reconciliation. Original PDF is public repository evidence, not an archived assistant transcription.
Earlier audit check 1 (historical evidence record). Its access limitations are superseded wherever the latest check above explicitly closes them. Retained for the distinct components and provenance, not as a current access statement.
