Scoped audit evidence

These are source- and component-level audit summaries as of 3 October 2026. Access and comparison scope can differ by report; none certifies every result or the underlying raw data.

Total hip arthroplasty

45 THA/23 controls; 2–4 weeks preop and 3 months; mixed approaches. Knee-height armless/backless stool, free feet, arms in lap, self-paced, 3 trials after 2 practices. VGRF normalized to weight in N: operated .51→.54, nonoperated .67→.64; control .61/.60. External moments normalized by mass×height. Residual force/moment asymmetry confirmed.

Source locator: Methods Movement task/Motion analysis; Results; Table 2

Limitations: Different hip-center estimation methods were used in patients and controls; a further limitation worth adding if expanding appraisal. Report correctly avoids review’s erroneous N/kg label. Substantive original material obtained; this is not proof of original report author access or every table/supplement being inspected.
