Meet the Team

This work cannot be done alone, and we've been lucky enough to assemble an outstanding team of clinicians and researchers to help identify useful tools for assessing physical function that may actually be clinically feasible.
Picture
Dr Ross Clark
National Health and Medical Research Council RD Wright Biomedical Fellow
University of the Sunshine Coast
Working together with the clinician's in our team, Dr Clark's passion is converting expensive and prohibitive research laboratory assessments  into clinically feasible measurement tools. For this work he was named the 2014 International Society for Posture and Gait Research Promising Young Scientist.

Associate Professor Yong Hao Pua
Singapore General Hospital
The brains behind our data analysis, Dr Pua's passion for clinical implementation is integral to our research. His expertise in creating clinical outcome registries and integrating instrumented assessments into standard clinical practice allows us to identify which of our tools are actually clinically feasible.

Key Clinical Collaborators

Picture
Dr Dawn Tan
Neurological Physiotherapist (Singapore General Hospital)
Dr Tan's passion for ensuring the best outcomes for her patients resulted in her receiving the 2015 SingHealth Outstanding Allied Health Professional Award. Along with the other clinicians in the team she ensures that Ross and Yong Hao don't go too crazy with their ideas for patient testing.

Associate Professor Gavin Williams
Neurological Physiotherapist (Epworth Hospital, Melbourne)
National Health and Medical Research Council Early Career Fellow
Dr Williams is a world renowned expert in gait rehabilitation after acquired brain injury, and works closely with Ross assessing physical function and outcomes in these populations.
